This website, Insurance Adda ("we", "us"), is operated by Gaurav Agarwal, an individual insurance agent (see our Disclaimer for agency details). We respect your privacy and handle your personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.

What we collect

• Details you submit: name, mobile number, email, city and information about the insurance you are interested in (for example age, sum assured, vehicle details or family members to be covered).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and the page from which you submitted a form, used to prevent spam and abuse.

We do not ask for medical records, bank details, Aadhaar or PAN through this website.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and contact you by call, SMS, email or WhatsApp, with your consent.
• To prepare insurance quotations and explain suitable products.
• To keep the website secure and prevent misuse.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Your details are shared with an insurance company only when you decide to proceed with a proposal, and only to the extent needed to process it. We may disclose data when required by law or by a regulator.

Retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to serve you or as required by law, and then delete it.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or erase your personal data, or withdraw your consent to be contacted, at any time by writing to [email protected] or calling +91 89290 86523. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing done before the withdrawal.
